Located behind the paperbarks on the beachfront at Point Lookout, these cabins on North Stradbroke Island were conceived as a formalised campsite.
Designed to flexibly accommodate groups of varying sizes, these modular cabins have been arranged around a central yard area overlooking the beach beyond. All cabins are ensuited, with 3 x double rooms and an 8 bed bunk room allowing the site to be occupied by multiple groups of varied configurations.
A central hub provides shared cooking and living space which open out to the ocean beyond and connect to the central courtyard via wide steps. A secondary deck area to the front of the site also opens onto the courtyard via wide steps, creating a shared entry point to the site and a casual buffer zone to the street beyond.
Project is currently in Development Approval.
